Tracy Michelle Knight 53 has been charged with endangering by fire a class C felony. Police responded to a 911 hangup call at 1534 17th Avenue South at about 1020 p.m. and called in the Fargo Fire Department to extinguish a fire found there.
Rescue workers found a man who had sustained burns from the fire. He was transferred to an area hospital for further treatment. According to documents filed in Cass County District Court the individual who suffered burns told police Knight was mad at him for losing her dog and started his apartment on fire before leaving the scene. When police talked to Knight she told them the same thing. She then refused to say anything more after being read her Miranda rights according to the court documents. Police seized a bottle of rubbing alcohol from the scene as evidence the court documents state.
