The anime television series of the Hiroyuki Takes Shaman King manga, which will reboot the 2001 series of the same name, is getting a sequel. The series that aired for a year starting in April 2021 adapted all 35 volumes of the new full manga release and concluded the show with 52 episodes. A brief sneak peek gives fans a glimpse of what’s to come in the Shaman King sequel with Anna and Yeoh’s son Hana.

The accompanying promotional images show the cast of characters now and seven years from now, which is impressive that the sequel is set sometime in the future. Shaman King is directed by Joji Furuta and produced by Studio Bridge in Tokyo. The anime combines scenarios designed by Satohiko Sano’s Shuji Yonemura with music composed by Yuki Hayashi.
