Although Daniel Radcliffe eventually grew into his own movie star role he was only 11 years old adjusting to his worldwide fame at the time screens for which he was best known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. During a press tour for the film Radcliffe appeared on The Today Show with Donald Trump as he told host Seth Meyers during a 2016 episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers.I was really nervous 10 and 11 years old and had never seen live TV and I was just terrified the actor recounted of his way of thinking.
Thankfully Trump has been there for the budding star with some sage advice…kind of. When Radcliffe told Trump he didnt know what he was going to talk about on the show Trump said You can just tell them you met Mr. Trump. Radcliffe went on to say that he was unable to relate to the baffling advice because it came from an overconfident mindset. How weird would the audience be? This British kid really loves Trump Radcliffe joked.
Separately the Miracle Workers actor recounted his experience with Trump while on the Graham Norton Show which was enough to make fellow guest stars Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake noticeably uncomfortable. With Kendrick shaking her head in particular Radcliffe considered Trumps behavior the pinnacle of selfconfidence.
