AEW Dynamite kicks off tonight with Jeff Hardy against Bobby Fish in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation Championship.Adam Cole and Kyle OReilly have already qualified in their confrontations against Tomohiro Ishii and Jungle Boy respectively. Both were present to support Fish. Cole was in the suspension OReilly stood ringside and Jeff Hardy had to take a lot of punishment before landing on a Swanton bomb for the fix. He also qualified for the Owen Hart Championships with Darby Allen. AEW seemed to be teasing their dream match against each other as Darby and Sting watched from the rafters.
Cinematic warnings continued into the postmatch phase as Coles teammates Fish and OReillys undisputed Young Bucks made their way. The confrontation between the Hardys and Bucks stirred up memories of the ROH feud. The prospect of them attacking in AEW infuriated fans and Matt and Jeff Hardy continued to irritate fans reciting the signature Delete chant to the Bucks as they joined forces with Cole Fish and OReilly.
