Carrie Underwood Fans Are Floored After Seeing Her Birthday Instagram

The country star went big for her 40th birthday, that’s for sure. Carrie Underwood celebrated the big 4-0 over the weekend! We know what you’re thinking  where has the time gone and what do you even get someone who literally has everything? Well, get ready.

Although, on tour, the “Ghost Story” singer took a much deserved break to enjoy her birthday festivities surrounded by family. Her Denim & Rhinestones tour feels like a party every time she hits the stage, so the mom of two decided on a more low-key celebration, but what her husband Mike Fisher surprised her with is far from subtle. The former hockey player shared a snapshot of Carrie with her over-the-top gifts, and let’s just say it’s very cheesy.

Before you start wondering if you’re seeing things, no, that is not cake. Rather than the typical multi-tiered dessert, the family opted for a tower of cheese wheels (yum!). Carrie took to her Instagram story to share a selfie with the cheese “cake,” writing “For size context…I believe this is about 70lbs of cheese! And, what better way to enjoy your charcuterie-inspired birthday “cake” than with enough wine to quench a whole army?

Mike also surprised the country singer with “a lifetime’s worth of wines starting at 1983” a.k.a a bottle for each year of Carrie’s life. To top it all off, Carrie’s sons made sure to surprise their mom with the most priceless gift of all. The singer’s sons, Isaiah and Jacob, each crafted their own special card for Carrie listing the many reasons they love her, including “when she dresses up” and of course, her snuggles.

But, just because Carrie celebrated her birthday at home, doesn’t mean that fans didn’t get to celebrate. As a matter of fact, the “Hate My Heart” singer gave fans a gift of their own by dropping a brand-new single titled, “Out of That Truck.” In a behind-the-scenes video, she admitted, “It was inevitable, I guess.” “I knew that someday I’d have a truck song,”, she joked.
