Big Mouth seasons 1, 2, and 3 had somewhat open endings with Jessi and Jay becoming runaways, Jay questioning his sexuality, and Nick and Andrew ending their friendship while Jessi prepared to move away with her mom. Season 4 was more of a close ending with Nick regaining control of his body with the help of his friends after his future self, Nick Starr, took over, and season 5 had a similar type of ending. By the end of Big Mouth season 5, Nick understood that all the monsters and bugs are a part of him this after talking to none other than Nick Kroll himself Missy escaped from her hate worm and made amends with Jessi, and Jay chose Matt over Lola. Big Mouth season 6, then, would continue Jay and Matt’s relationship, Lola’s possible revenge as she won’t let go of Jay, and the many struggles between Nick and Andrew and their respective bodies.
