90 Day Fiancé: Yara Reveals She ‘Wanted To Go Home’ After Mylah Was Born

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Yara Zaya revealed she wanted to return to Ukraine after her daughter Mylah was born amid the pandemic.

Star of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Yara Zaya revealed how her daughter’s birth led her to want to return to Ukraine in a throwback post on Instagram. Yara’s journey in America hasn’t been easy, as she and husband Jovi Dufren became pregnant shortly after her arrival in New Orleans. After their baby girl Mylah was born, Jovi had to leave home for work. The young mother struggled postpartum amid the Covid-19 pandemic without her husband. During the Happily Ever After? Tell-All special, Yara was accused of being too attached to her baby. The Ukrainian mother is now opening up about her challenges of having her baby in isolation.

Jovi and Yara recently celebrated Mylah’s first birthday in Dallas after the family evacuated their New Orleans home ahead of Hurricane Ida. The couple made the most out of their time in Texas and shared sweet pictures from Mylah’s birthday photoshoot. Jovi and Yara have now returned home to help out their community members who were badly affected by the storm. Now that the family is getting settled back in Louisiana, Yara is getting back into her routine of caring for her infant and sharing more about her hard experiences as a mom.

Yara revealed she “terribly” wanted to go home to Ukraine to be with her own mother after Mylah was born. “Due to the fact that I did not have documents, plus Covid, I could not fly to her and she could not fly to me.” Yara went on to describe how she coped with her emotions. Yara said she always tried to walk in the fresh air so that she would be “filled with good energy” and not transfer her “negative energy” to Mylah. “I think that I am very attached to her because we are always together,” Yara wrote.

Yara’s hardships as a mother prove she’s willing to put her family first in her new home country. Though Jovi and Yara’s journey together has been difficult, the couple is clearly committed to making their marriage a success for their growing daughter. Yara’s openness about her life only adds to fans’ call for the Dufrens to have a 90 Day Fiancé spin-off series.
