90 Day Fiancé cast members Sumit Singh and Jenny Slatten recently got engaged in India and some TLC fans seem to think that his U.S. visa was denied.
Former 90 Day Fiancé star Jenny Slatten is fighting back rumors of Sumit Singh’s U.S. visa getting denied that seem to have spread on Instagram. The May/December couple with 30 years of an age difference between them appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way with Jenny moving to India to be together with Sumit. After fighting pressure from parents and divorce drama, Sumit and Jenny are still in India, engaged. However, some TLC fans seem to be wondering why Jenny and Sumit haven’t moved to America yet, considering that’s what his parents also wanted years ago, as they’d shockingly revealed.
It turns out that unlike most 90 Day Fiancé cast members who often get accused of marrying their American partners for a green card, Sumit has a different agenda in mind. With Sumit having catfished Jenny the first time they met a decade ago on Facebook, his intentions were highly doubted. Furthermore, Sumit also had married his wife secretly while still dating Palm Springs resident Jenny long-distance. Fans were shocked along with Jenny during 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1 to know Sumit was still married, and on season 2, refused to believe he would even divorce the wife.
But not only did 90 Day Fiancé star Sumit get divorced, but he was also ready to marry Jenny, although his mother’s threats stopped him. Fans started seeing Sumit through a different lens as they realized this was a rare couple on 90 Day Fiancé who actually loved each other and weren’t not together for fame or money. Many noticed Jenny glowing with happiness each day she spent with Sumit, and their Instagram and Facebook updates also revealed the TLC pair was finally engaged. However, questions of why Sumit and Jenny are still in Uttar Pradesh were raised, and some even wondered if financial difficulties were behind it. But Jenny revealed the real reason on IG.
A fan posted a comment on one of Jenny’s Instagram posts asking why Sumit isn’t able to go to the states. “Was he denied a visa?” the 90 Day Fiancé viewer asked another fan. However, Jenny replied with, “nope, we chose to live in India,” before adding that they never even applied for a visa for Sumit. “This is our choice,” explained Jenny and also revealed why. “He wants to stay in India,” confessed Jenny while again stressing the fact that Sumit was “never denied anything” because they “never applied” for a visa.
Meanwhile, a major reason for Jenny wanting to be married to Sumit quickly after his divorce on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 was her own visa nearing its expiration. It’s not yet known how Jenny managed to stay in India after that, which had fans wondering that she’s now married to Sumit. The 90 Day Fiancé couple also seems to be living comfortably in India contrary to speculations of them going through a money crisis, as Sumit seems to have a job, and they’re often taking trips to shopping malls and going on fun staycations.
