Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has joined the cast of Netflix’s new dark “Hitchcockian” comedy feature Strangers for a small role, Deadline said on Thursday, June 24.
Strangers is set to star Camila Mendes (Riverdale) and Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) as the main characters. Netflix also announced the official cast list of the film on Friday, June 25.
“[Strangers] is a dark comedy about two girls who team up to go after the other’s bully,” Netflix wrote on Twitter.

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who wrote Someone Great and Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, is set to direct the dark comedy. It will be co-written by Celeste Ballard. The film is still in production and the release date has yet to be announced.
